3rd ‘Mieruko-chan’ Anime Episode Previewed

Fans of the Mieruko-chan manga series from Tomoki Izumi are going to be happy as the project is getting a TV anime adaptation started up this past weekend. The series saw an October 3rd, 2021 debut for the project with Funimation handling the simulcast for it. With it underway now, the Japanese side is doing some promotion for the third episode that’s due out on October 17th, 2021 below.

The series will have Yuki Ogawa directing it based on the scripts overseen by Kenta Ihara. Chikashi Kadekarau is on board with the character designs and serving as the chief animation director with studio Passione handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Sora Amamiya as Miko Yotsuya, Kaede Hondo as Hana Yurikawa, Ayane Sakura as Yulia Nikaidō, Yuichi Nakamura as Zen Tohno, Hitomi Nabatame as Tōko Yotsuya, Kousuke Toriumi as Mamoru Yotsuya, and Nobuo Tobita as Junji Rōsoku

The show has Sora Amamiya performing the opening theme song with “Mienai Kara Ne!?” and the ending song as well which is Mita na? Mita yo ne?? Miteru yo ne???”

The manga from Tomoki Izumi began in 2018 on ComicWalker and has five volumes released so far. Yen Press picked it up in 2020 and has released two volumes as of the announcement.

Plot Concept: One day, Miko suddenly started seeing grotesque beings that others couldn’t. Her response was not to run, not to face them, but to do everything she can to completely ignore them! Can she keep a straight face and continue her day-to-day life while surrounded by horrifying monsters?
