The summer 2020 anime adaptation of the light novel series Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha is localized as The Misfit of Demon King Academy and it wrapped up back at the end of September 2020 with thirteen episodes. With a second season on the way, German distributor Peppermint Anime has started to release the series there and is rolling out promos for it. The first set arrived with an October 7th, 2021 release while the second half comes in on November 18th, 2021. Check out the clip below where we see how things go for Anoth and the entrance exam.
The series has Shin Oonuma as the chief director and Masafumi Tamura as the director. Mirai Minato is on board as the assistant director. Jin Tanaka is handling the scripts with Kazuyuki Yamayoshi adapting the character designs. Silver Link is working on the animation production.
The anime adaptation will feature Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Anoth. Additional casting includes Tomori Kusunoki as Misha Necron and Yuko Natsuyoshi as Sasha Necron.
The opening theme song is “Seikai Fusaikai” by CIVILIAN while the ending theme song information with it being “Hamidashimono” by Tomori Kusunoki.
The novels come from Shu which began in 2017 and has five volumes to date. A manga adaptation launched in the summer of 2018 from Kayaharuka.

But with magic on its last legs in this era, no one is able to assess Anoth’s true power!
