King Records Reveals 3rd ‘Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan’ Blu-ray Anime Release Artwork

The summer 2021 anime adaptation of the Uramichi Oniisan manga by Gaku Kuze is getting its home video releases in Japan handled by King Records. The distributor has set a four-volume release for this thirteen-episode series that began on September 1st, 2021. The first three releases will be priced at 7,800 yen with three episodes each while the fourth will be priced at 8,800 yen with four episodes. Nobuyoshi Nagayama directed it based on the scripts from Touko Machida. Mizuki Takahashi handled the character design work while Studio Blanc is on board as the animation production company.

The announced Japanese cast for it will be those used in the promos for the manga previously and additional new actors that includes Hiroshi Kamiya as Uramichi Omota, Tomokazu Sugita as Tobikichi Usahara, Yūichi Nakamura as Mitsuo Kumagai, Mamoru Miyano as  Iketeru Daga, Nana Mizuki as Utano Tadano, Ryohei Kimura as Hanbee Kikaku, Kenichi Suzumura as Saito Uebu, Kensho Ono as Matahiko Nekota, Shinichiro Miki as Yusao Furode, Kenyuu Horiuchi as Tekito Derekida, Natsuki Hanae as Eddy Edei, Minami Takahashi as Kayo Ennoshita, Rina Satou as Ikuko Heame, Kazuya Nakai as Furitsuke Capellini, Kenjiro Tsuda as Amon, Yōko Hikasa as Mabui Daga, Sayuri Sadaoka as Sayuri, Ryohei Kimura as Hanbee Kikaku, Kenichi Suzumura as Saito Uebu, Daisuke Ono as Matahiko, and Nekotaand Houchu Ohtsuka as The Voice of God.

Plot Concept: This slice of life comedy series follows 31-year-old Uramichi Omota, who works for a kid’s television show as a physical exercises coach. While approachable and great with kids, some may be put off by his emotional instability, and he’s not always the cheerful guy he’s supposed to be.
