After receiving an anime TV series in the spring of 2018, the manga Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii, aka Love is Hard for an Otaku, has revealed that the tenth volume of the manga will have a bundled Blu-ray anime episode. We learned previously with the arrival of the ninth volume that the eleventh and final volume of the series will have the bundled edition.

With that October 14th, 2021 release date for it just around the corner, the publisher has rolled out a new 60-second promotional video for the OAD that works the theme song from it as well. The story covers the “Company Outing” piece from the manga’s sixth volume.

The series is directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike based on the series composition that he put together. Takahiro Yasuda is handling the character design with A-1 Pictures handling the animation.

The cast from the web promos for the manga will be reprising their roles for the show with Arisa Date as Narumi Momose, Kento Itou as Hirotaka Nifuji, Miyuki Sawashiro as Hanako Koyanagi, Tomokazu Sugita as Tarou Kabakura, and Yuki Kaji as Naoya Nifuji.
