A new anime is on our horizon for fall 2021 with the upcoming original series Pride of Orange, which is coming from CAAnimatio and DMM Games. As part of a multimedia project, the anime adaptation is set as a TV series and we learned initially that studio C2C was involved. Recently scheduled for an October 6th, 2021 debut on Tokyo MX and others, the official site has dropped two new promotional videos for it. The first one features a good look at the gameplay while including English title cards. The second one goes a bit more for the music side of things and plays up that aspect really well.
Takebumi Anzai is directing with Touko Machida handling the series composition. Kii Tanaka is on board for the character designs adaptation with C2C handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Riku Masuda as Manaka Mizusawa, Satomi Hongo as Yu Kiyose, Mayu Sagara as Ayaka Mizusawa, Saika Kitamori as Riko Saginuma, Asuka Shiori as Naomi Takagi, Yurika Moriyama as Kaoruko Yanagida, Yoshino Aoyama as Mami Ono, Hisako Tōjō as China Yoneyama, Ruriko Aoki as Juri Kikuchi, Aina Suzuki as Shino Ukita, Eriko Matsui as Runa Hirano, Shizuku Hoshinoya as Minato Shishiuchi, Kurumi Takase as Mona Fujishiro, Mikako Komatsu as Yōko Matsunaga, and Yoshiaki Hasegawa as Sō Satō.
The opening theme song is “Fire Fight” as performed by the seven main cast members under the unit name “Team PuraOre!”. The ending theme song is “Orage” by May’n.
