A new project was announced recently and set for the fall as part of the Super Animeism block with ‘Deji’ Meets Girl. The October 2021 project is going to be just 90-seconds per episode when it arrives. The official site has now revealed a new promotional video for the show and revealed that Tatsuyuki Kobayashi is on board to play Ichiro. It also confirmed an October 1st, 2021 premiere date for the first episode.
Kiyono Yasuno will be playing the lead of Maise Higa in the project.
Ushio Tazawa is on board to direct it while also adapting the character designs and supervising the scripts. It’s being animated by LIDEN FILMS.

Plot Concept: The wondrous story is set in motion one summer when Maise Higa, a listless first-year high school girl who works part-time at the front desk of her family’s hotel in Okinawa, meets an “Ichirō Suzuki,” a mysterious youth who came alone from Tokyo as a hotel guest. Since Suzuki’s arrival, “dëji” things have been happening around Maise, like fish swimming around the room or a giant banyan tree smashing through the hotel ceiling.
