We learned back in October 2019 about the plans for some new Muv-Luv animation coming for the property along with some gaming material for the mobile set. Crunchyroll revealed earlier this month that they’ll be streaming the series as part of the fall 2021 season when it debuts. Now, the Japanese side has updated with an October 6th, 2021 release that comes with a new key visual and a new trailer as well.
The series has Yukio Nishimoto directing it based on the scripts overseen by Tatsuhiko Urahata. Takuya Tani is on board with the character design and Flagship Line is working with Yumeta Company x Graphinica for the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Kōichi Kamiki as Takeru Shirogane
- Tomori Kusunoki as Sumika Kagami
- Karin Nanami as Meiya Mitsurugi
