The spring 2018 anime series Magical Girl Site is based 0n the manga Kentarou Satou and began serialization in Champion Tap! back in July 2013 before shifting to a bigger magazine with Weekly Shounen Champion in the fall of 2017. With the anime adaptation streamed by Amazon, Sentai announced their pickup of the show for home video release back in June 2021 while talking about streaming plans to come.
Now, HIDIVE has announced that they’re going to begin streaming the series on August 19th, 2021 at 1:00 pm ET where it’ll be available to viewers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, and Portugal. The show will be in its original Japanese language with English subtitles only.
Tadahito Matsubayashi will be directing it based on the series composition by Takayo Ikami. Production doA is on board for the animation.
The Japanese cast includes Yuuko Ono as Aya Asagiri, Himika Akenaya as Tsuruno Yatsumura, Haruka Yamazaki as Sarina Shizukume, Yuu Serizawa as Nijimi Anazawa, Aina Suzuki as Rina Shioi, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kaname Asagiri, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kiichirō Misumi, Yūya Asato as Keisuke Naoto, Kaede Hondo as Mikari Izumigamine, Eriko Matsui as Kiyoharu Suirenji, Yumi Hara as Kosame Amagai, M.A.O. as Sayuki Ringa, and Lynn as Asahi Takiguchi.

Plot Concept: Aya Asagiri’s life could not get any worse. Relentlessly bullied by peers and family, she spirals into darkness and despair. Nearing rock bottom, she receives a mysterious invitation from Magical Girl Site, a website promising to grant her life-changing magical powers. At first, Aya dismisses the lure as just another cold-hearted prank, but a fateful choice makes clear that dark abilities now grow within her. As she discovers dangerous new powers, Aya learns she isn’t alone in her situation. Banding together with other “magical girls,” Aya must expose the Magical Girl Site and its true intention.
