2 min read
In this warmhearted romantic comedy, mistaken identity leads to a blossoming romance between two boys.

The timing on this is good for English-language fans as Viz Media is bringing out the manga for My Love Mix-Up! in October 2021. The property from Aruko and Wataru Hinekure is set for a live-action TV series this fall. Details regarding it haven’t been released yet in Japan other than that it’s coming. Fans know Aruko from their prior work that saw some solid adaptation with My Love Story!! that was produced by artist Kazune Kawahara.

The manga began in 2019 and has six volumes out as of the end of August 2021. Viz Media’s English adaptation is set for an October 5th, 2021 debut.

Plot Concept: Aoki has a crush on Hashimoto, the girl in the seat next to him in class. But he despairs when he borrows her eraser and sees she’s written the name of another boy—Ida—on it. To make matters more confusing, Ida sees Aoki holding that very eraser and thinks Aoki has a crush on him!
