At the Aniplex panel at AnimeJapan 2021 back in March 2021, a new project was announced with the original work Visual Prison. The series comes from creator Noriyasu Agematsu, the mind behind Symphogear and Wild Arms, working with A-1 Pictures. The production for this is inching closer to reality and now we have some new casting – Tomokazu Sugita as the mascot Panya – but also the theme song side of things. The in-show band Oz will handle the opening theme song “Zankoku Shangri-la” while the in-show band Los†Eden will handle the ending theme song with “Bloody Kiss.” There’s an insert song as well that comes from in-show band Eclipse with “Gyokuza no Gemini.”

Jouji Furuta is on board as the chief director with Tomoya Tanaka as the hands-on director. Yukie Sugawara is supervising the scripts while Minako Shiba is adapting the character designs from Ikumi Katagiri.
