Discotek Media picked up the rights to the Sorcerer Hunters TV series back in the spring and while they’ve got their plans for that release they’re also doing some streaming with it. They’ve now brought the series to the RetroCrush streaming service where it’s available in its original Japanese language as well as the English language dub. Availability is limited to the US and Canada which is where Discotek licensed it for but also because this older series has had its license split over the years with a number of other distributors around the world.
With the series available, RetroCrush is rolling out some clip material to highlight the series that many haven’t seen before. The latest clip clocks in at nearly the eleven-minute mark so where we get a lot of really silly bits involving harems that will certainly delight old school anime fans.
The opening song is “What’s up Guys” by Megumi Hayashibara and Shinnosuke Furumoto while the closing theme song is “Mask” by Masami Okui.
