Discotek Media brought out the Lupin the 3rd: Green Vs. Red OVA back in 2013 with it being a DVD-only release that gave fans the 40th-anniversary special. Now, the folks at TMS Entertainment have brought the property to Amazon where it’s available for digital purchase or rental, coming in at $9.99 or $2.99 respectively – both of which are in HD here. The OVA is in its original Japanese language with English subtitles.

The 2008 OVA was directed by Shigeyuki Miya based n the screenplay by Toshimichi Okawa. Takayo Nishimura handled the character designs with TMS handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Aya Hirano as Yukiko, Eiko Masuyama as Fujiko Mine, Gorō Naya as Inspector Zenigata, Kanichi Kurita as Arsène Lupin III, Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Daisuke Jigen, Makio Inoue as Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Jin Katagiri as Yasuo, and Kenichi Ogata as Oyaji.
Plot Concept: When a Lupin impersonator is arrested for shoplifting in Tokyo, dozens of other copycats converge on the city to clear the name of Arsene Lupin III. The real Lupin is in town too, both to watch the show and to steal a mysterious item called the Ice Cube. But one of those impostors also has designs on the Cube, and he might just be good enough to beat the original at his own game.
