What They Say:
GLOOMY is Pity’s pet bear. He’s a little over 6 feet and weighs as much as 2000 pomegranates. He’s well trained for the most part, but he can never remember that he’s not supposed to attack humans. Still, a pet owner must take ultimate responsibility for his pets. Recalling warm memories of GLOOMY as a cute bear cub, Pity tries to lead a life of peaceful co-existence with his pet bear.
The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
Circling back to some of what it did before, this episode has Pity bringing some snacks for Gloomy only to realize that Gloomy is getting stronger and more deadly, causing him to wonder how much longer his body can handle this. But a little luck comes into play in seeing a cute ad on TV with a dog and their owner playing ball outside so he tries to do that with Gloomy. Hell, it could work just in tuckering him out some and making him more relaxed. Of course, anything but that happens and we see just another way for Pity to get all bloodied and torn.
In Summary:
I continue to feel for Pity as he tries to do right by Gloomy as much as he can but he’s not doing the training right and Gloomy may not be trainable when you get down to it. It’s definitely fun to watch this unfold here because you want to see what crazy way Gloomy will react to things and just how violent it’ll get with him. Pitty’s doing his best but he’s got such an unstoppable force on the other side of things.
