Tubi Adds ‘Himote House’ Anime Streaming

The fall 2018 anime series Himote House has been an out of sight out of mind property since it ended but now it’s getting a new lease on life. Tubi has announced that they’re going to be streaming it and it’s gone live on the service here. The short-form series was originally simulcast by Crunchyroll.

Koutarou Ishidate is directing it and in charge of the series composition with booota handling the character designs. Check out an expanded look on those designs below!

The Japanese cast includes Aya Suzaki as Tae Hongou, Satomi Akesaka as Kokoro Himote, Suzuko Mimori as Kinami Himote, Kaori Mizuhashi as Tokiyo Himote, Sumire Uesaka as Minamo Arai, Asuka Nishi as Enishi, Karin Ogino as Nyarin, and Atsushi Tamaru.

Plot Concept: The series deals with five girls and one cat all living as housemates in Nakano, Tokyo: the three Himote sisters (Tokiyo, Kinami, and Kokoro) whose family manages the “Himote House,” Kokoro’s classmates Tae and Minamo, and the cat Enishi. The girls live their daily lives trying to figure out ways to be popular, and they (and the cat) all possess a mysterious secret power…
