Funimation has been rolling out various release for LASTEXILE – Fam, The Silver Wing- since all the way back in 2011 when they first picked it up. With the latest priced-down release that came out this month (UPC 704400103933), it looks like there’s a manufacturing error as retailers have been notified to pull the title until corrected versions can be brought out. This Essentials release is just of the Blu-ray edition and has nothing to do with any prior iterations, just a problem with the current pressing. A new version is set for release on July 27th, 2021.
The four-disc set is priced at $34.98 and has the two-cour run in bilingual form.

Plot concept: Years ago, humanity abandoned the ruined Blue World. Generations later, with the planet again capable of sustaining life, mankind returned.
