Stephen King’s ‘Lisey’s Story’ Debuts Apple TV+ Trailer

There’s a darkness within us that lives on without us.

It’s been a bit of a renaissance in the last couple of years with a number of Stephen King’s works getting new adaptations or remakes. A new one is scheduled as a miniseries on Apple TV+ that’s set to begin on June 4th, 2021 that will run through July 16th, 2021 with Lisey’s Story. It’s a project that he had hoped for a TV adaptation of back in 2017 and signed on to write the scripts for it while Pablo Larrain is directing all eight episodes. The project comes from Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV for Apple TV+ and now the first trailer for it has landed.

The cast includes:

  • Julianne Moore as Lisey Landon
  • Clive Owen as Scott Landon
  • Joan Allen as Amanda Debuher
  • Dane DeHaan as Jim Dooley
  • Sung Kang as Officer Dan Boeckman
  • Jennifer Jason Leigh as Darla
  • Ron Cephas Jones as Professor Dashmiel

Plot Concept: Based on the novel by Stephen King, this terrifying thriller follows widow Lisey Landon (Julianne Moore) as a series of disturbing events revives memories of her marriage to author Scott Landon (Clive Owen) and the darkness that plagued him.
