Wishes have been answered with a new season on the way!

The Overlord series is likely looking to juice the book publishing side again as a fourth season has been announced for the light novel property. While no dates have been set, the new season is set to cover the Holy Kingdom arc from the novels. A theatrical film is also in the works. A new key visual was released alongside the live stream announcement for it.

The project looks to be bringing back the main cast and staff with it as Naoyuki Itou is directing based on the scripts overseen by Yukie Sugawara. Satoshi Tasaki is adapting so-bin’s designs with Madhouse handling the animation production.

Check out our review of the first season.
