With the Japanese home video release for the Majestic Prince the Movie: Awakening of Genetics feature film as done back in 2017 after a limited theatrical run in late 2016, Sentai Filmworks brought the film out on home video with a February 9th, 2021 debut where it’ll be bilingual using the same cast as before and will also include the OVA.
Now, HIDIVE has announced that they’ll be onboarding the film to the service with a planned May 10th, 2021 debut at 1:00 pm ET for their members. It’ll be open to viewers in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

This 24 episode sci-fi action series was directed by Keitaro Motonaga (Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka, Getbackers) and features series composition by Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Girls und Panzer) with character designs by Hisashi Hirai (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed series, S-CRY-ed), and mecha designs by Yuji Tani, Koji Watanabe (Blue Gender) and Yasuhiro Moriki (Martian Successor Nadesico).
Plot concept: The alien Wulgaru’s last assault against humanity was foiled by the heroic actions of the genetically enhanced humans known as the Evolved Children in their advanced AHSMB battle armor, but now a new attack has been launched against Earth under an even deadlier champion, Diorna, created from the fusion of DNA from two Wulgaru Royals. Unfortunately, Izuru Hitachi, the leader of Team Rabbits who defeated the Wulgaru Royal Jiart, is still out of action and recovering, so the task of marshalling the Majestic Princes and stopping Diorna falls upon the unready shoulders of Toshikazu Asagi. Together with the remaining members of Team Rabbits and the recently created Team Fawn, it’s up to Asagi to hold the line against the most ruthless adversary yet in MAJESTIC PRINCE: GENETIC AWAKENING!
