Announced previously as part of the expansive slate of titles coming to Disney+ for Marvel Studios, a new detail has landed with the Secret Invasion project. The latest cast addition is listed as being in the in negotiations status, which usually means are just being finalized if it comes out like this, with Oscar winner Olivia Colman joining the project. Colman won her Academy Award for The Favourite and came to more worldwide attention with the British TV series Broadchurch which included David Tennant and Jodie Whitaker. As usual, no details as to who she’d be playing it has arrived.
It was previously revealed that it’ll star Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos. Kingsley Ben-Adir has joined the project to play what they believe will be a leading villain on the show, though no character names were revealed.
