The series follows the adventures and exploits of S.A.M, a high-end, royal-class friendship droid who's joined by a quirky, discarded maintenance robot and a brash, deadly fugitive.

It was back in 2019 that Netflix debuted the Canon Busters series from LeSean Thomas with its twelve episodes that landed in the summer. Now, the show has been picked up by Madman Entertainment for home video release in Australia. The bilingual release is getting a Blu-ray release on July 7th, 2021 priced at $64.95 where it has a twelve-episode run and includes the behind-the-scenes journey, some animatics, and the clean opening and closing.

It’s also getting a DVD/BD limited edition combo on the same day for $109.95 and list extras with six art cards and an augmented reality pin. It indicates limited edition artwork for the set and extras to be revealed.

The show is a production that comes from Manga Entertainment, Nada Holdings, and anime studio Satelight. With the series landing anytime now, Netflix Japan has dropped a new two-minute promotion video that plays up the music elements well and the general action and design for it.

LeSean Thomas is directing and serving as executive producer for the series and worked on the scripts with Natasha Allegri (Bee & Puppycat), Anne Toole (The Witcher), and Nilah Magruder (M.F.K.). Matt Wayne is serving as story editor.

Plot Concept: The series follows the adventures and exploits of S.A.M, a high-end, royal-class friendship droid who’s joined by a quirky, discarded maintenance robot and a brash, deadly fugitive. Together, the unlikely trio embarks on an unforgettable journey in a fantastic and dangerous world in search of S.A.M’s best friend, the heir to a powerful kingdom under siege.
