The theatrical anime adaptation of Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet arrived with its first part as Date A Bullet: Dead or Bullet. A second part will be coming on November 13th, 2020 with the subtitle Nightmare of Queen in theaters. Kadokawa recently brought out the first film with a March 24th, 2020 debut for it and while we had the visual for the figure for the limited edition previously, we missed on updating with the artwork. So, shamefully, a bit late, we now have a look at the packaging spread for this first film. The set will have a regular edition DVD and Blu-ray priced at 6,000 yen and 7,000 yen respectively. There’s also a limited edition at 25,000 yen with a 1/7 figure. Check out the details below and a promo highlighting the figure.
Jun Nakagawa directed it based on the screenplay by Yuichiro Higashide. Naoto Nakamura worked on the character designs with production done at Geek Toys.
The Japanese cast includes Saori Ōnishi as White Queen, Kaede Hondo as Hibiki Higoromo, Mariya Ise as Tsuan, Rina Hidaka as Panie Ibusuki, Asami Seto as Yui Sagakure, and Natsumi Fujiwara as Isami Hijikata.
Luiza will perform the ending theme song “Only Wish” for the first film.
The novel series began in 2017 and has five volumes out so far written by Yuichiro Higashide with illustrations by NOCO.
