Set for a May 28th, 2021 debut, Disney has finally revealed the second full trailer for their live-action Cruella film. It’s getting a theatrical release and a Disney+ Premiere Access debut at the same time. The project brings Craig Gillespie in to direct it based on the screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara. The project, which hasn’t listed a budget for it, isn’t the first time we’ve seen them in live-action as Glenn Close played the character in the 1996 live-action remake of 101 Dalmations.

The cast includes:

  • Emma Stone as Estella “Cruella” de Vil
  • Emma Thompson as the Baroness
  • Joel Fry as Jasper Badun
  • Paul Walter Hauser as Horace Badun
  • Emily Beecham as Anita
  • Mark Strong as Boris
  • Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Tabitha
  • Jamie Demetriou as Gerald

Plot Concept: In 1970s London, young fashion designer Estella de Vil becomes obsessed with dogs’ skins, especially Dalmatians, until she eventually becomes a ruthless and terrifying legend known as Cruella.
