The Star Trek: Picard series wrapped up awhile ago and the plans for the second season have been moving right along with filming getting underway after a delay due to the pandemic. That said, the second season is going to land until likely January 2022 with Paramount saying just 2022. But they’re getting fans interested in what’s to come with a new teaser that will bring back the one character that fans will really want in this series with Q, made popular by John DeLancie.
The show will be on the Paramount+ app in the US while Amazon Prime Video will bring it to 200+ countries when it launches on January 23rd, 2020. A second season has already been given the green light.
That has them joining series lead Patrick Stewart along with Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, and Isa Briones. Recurring/returning characters include Brent Spiner as Data, Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Jonathan Del Arco as Hugh, Jonathan Frakes as William Riker, and Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi.
The first two episodes are being directed by Hanelle Culpepper.
