The Review
Content (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
The crowd erupts in cheers as Mash, dark horse of the Divine Visionary tournament, triumphs over Carpaccio. Writhing in agony, Carpaccio feels pain for the first time. Thinking back on all his victims, are these the feelings of anguish and fear they were subjected to? Despite that overwhelming agony, Finn carried that burden for someone other than himself. Carpaccio finally understood that pain. Hanging his head in defeat, Carpaccio realizes the difference in their resolve, gaining a new perspective on what strength means.
Somewhere else in the exam arena, Margarette was facing off against two mages. But two-on-one made no difference to him. Rating his opponents on a Solfège scale, Margarette determines that they’re no match for him. And rightfully so, he backs up that assessment will a tremendous show of force. With that, the 2nd round of the exam comes to a close.
Mash and Dot do a little victory jig, reveling in their progression to the next round. But this was no time for celebration. The next portion of the exam would be the true test – a showdown between Mash Burnedead and Margarette Macaron. This is the moment everyone has been waiting for, the strongest student from Orca dorm and possibly all of Easton Academy, versus the shining star of Adler dorm.
In Summary:
This week was mostly a transitional chapter, but we got suitable development for Carpaccio and built some proper hype for the upcoming battle. Strap in folks, Mashle is about to turn up the heat!
