Marvel Debuts Final ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ Disney+ Series Trailer

The pair team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities - and their patience.

The reveal of the Disney+ trailer focusing on several of the Marvel shows, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries has lead to a bit more information. Originally planned for an August 2020 debut before the pandemic hit and, according to some scuttlebutt, a subplot had to be redone since it involved a bioweapon incident amid a pandemic, the series went from the first TV project to the second after WandaVision.

We got the premiere date of March 19th, 2021 earlier in the month when the extended Super Bowl trailer came out for it that gave us our first really good feel for the project. Now, as we’re just a few days away from the start of the series, Marvel Studios has dropped a new 2-minute “final” trailer for the series to get us into the right frame of mind for it.

The series has Malcolm Spellman serving as the showrunner with the opening episode directed by Kari Skogland. It’s set for a six-episode weekly run and a $150 million budget.

The cast so far includes Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Adepero Oduye, Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, and Noah Mil.

Plot Concept: After Sam Wilson was handed the mantle of Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Wilson and Bucky Barnes find themselves teaming-up in a worldwide adventure that puts their abilities to the test.
