The Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion The Animation anime series has gone over pretty well with its most recent series that also had a film. Last month we learned that a new project is being put together with Shinkalion Z, which is set for an April 9th, 2021 debut. The official site has now updated with two cast additions with Sayaka Senbongi as Kasumi Abiko and Satomi Moriya as Misaki Ōishi along with Fumihiro Okabayashi as Atsuta Hosokawa. Check out their designs below.
The series has Kentaro Yamaguchi directing it with them and Masanao Akahoshi handling the series composition. Yuka Aono is working on the character designs for it.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Minami Tsuda as Shin Arata
- Akari Kitō as Abuto Usui
- Jun Fukuyama as SMAT
- Yuka Terasaki plays Hanabi Ōmagari
- Michiko Kaiden plays Taiju Togakushi
- Kanon Takao as Ayu Arata
- Marina Inoue as Akeno Myōjō

The opening theme song “New Challenger” in it as performed by BOYS AND MEN.
Plot Concept: Hayato and other children will serve as conductors to pilot the Shinkalion. The children must work together with the adults of the “Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute” (SUEI) to defeat a monster that looks like a jet black bullet train.
