The winter 2021 anime adaptation of the Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious property is getting some new promotion. With the series making a January 17th, 2021 debut, last week saw the eighth episode. Now, the official site has dropped a new extended promotional video for the ninth episode due out on March 7th, 2021 that focuses on the next arc of the series. Several new actors have joined for the arc with Kengo Kawanishi as Arumanfi, Kenjiro Tsuda as Orsted, Rikiya Koyama as Perugius Dola, and Yuka Iguchi as Kishirika Kishirisu. Funimation previously announced that they’ve acquired the series for streaming with it set to be available to viewers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, and Brazil.
The series is directed by Manabu Okamoto with character designs by Kazutaka Sugiyama. Studio Bind is on board for the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus Greyrat, Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Konomi Kohara as Roxy Migurdia, Ai Kayano as Sylphiette, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Paul Greyrat, Hisako Kanemoto as Zenith Greyrat, Lynn as Lillia, Daisuke Namikawa as Ruijerd Superdia, and Tomokazu Sugita as Rudeus Grayrat’s former self.
The series from Rifujin na Magonote and illustrator Shirotaka is part of the imprint MF Books. The light novels began in 2014 and a manga adaptation kicked off in the same year. Seven Seas Entertainment has the rights to both and is currently releasing them.

Plot Concept: The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby.
With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he’s still a total pervert.
