‘Gekidol’ Anime Opening Gets Streaming

The multimedia project for the Gekidol anime saw a premiere date of January 5th, 2020 on AT-X before it rolled out to other locations. With the series having been out there for a bit, Funimation has finally been able to get the opening theme song for it streaming. It features the song “Gekidol” as performed in-character by Hikaru Akao as Seria Morino. Check it out below for a good upbeat way to start your day!

The series will stream on Funimation’s site in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland; on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand; and on Wakanim in France, Russia, Germany, and Scandinavia.

The series is set with Shigure Ueda directing it based on the scripts overseen by chief writer Keiichiro Ochi. Asami Sekiya is handling the character designs and serving as the chief animation director with Hoods Entertainment handling the production.

The Japanese cast includes Hikaru Akao as Seria Morino, Chihira Mochida as Airi Kagami, Ayaka Suwa as Izumi Hninazaki, Kana Hanazawa as Kaworu Sakakibara, M.A.O as Doll, Nozomi Yamamoto as Aki Asagi, Asami Takano as Aimi Fujita, Aya Akiyoshi as Waka Yamamoto, Amina Satō as Mayuri Nakamura, Kousuke Toriumi as Hirokazu Takezaki, Sarara Yashima as Makoto Higuchi, and Kaori Mizuhashi as Tomoko Hinata.
