The fall 2020 anime adaptation of the Muno no Nana manga is localized as Talentless Nana and Kadokwawa is handling the Japanese releases for it. The thirteen-episode series is getting a three-volume release that began on December 23rd, 2020. The show is getting DVD releases priced at 12,000 yen for the first volume and 11,000 yen for the rest. The Blu-rays are priced at 13,000 yen and 12,000 yen respectively. With all the volumes out now, the second and third ones have been updated with separate cover and packaging images as well as removing the “sample” stamp on it so it’s a clean look!
Shinji Ishihara is directing the series based on the series composition by Fumihiko Shimo. Satohiko Sano is working on the character designs with studio Bridge handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes Rumi Okubo as Nana Hiiragi, Hiro Shimono as Nanao Nakajima, Yūichi Nakamura as Kyōya Onodera, Mai Nakahara as Michiru Inukai, Toshiki Masuda as Yōhei Shibusawa, Takuya Nakashima as Moguo Iijima, Yūki Inoue as “Moguo’s henchman A”, Takeo Ōtsuka as “Moguo’s henchman B”, Yoshitaka Yamaya as “Moguo’s henchman C”, Hiromichi Tezuka as Seiya Kori, Yukina Tsutsumi as Kirara Habu, Yurie Kozakai as Kaori Takanashi,Atsushi Tamaru as Tsunekichi Hatadaira, Miyu Tomita as Yūka Sasaki, Aiko Ninomiya as Shinji Kazama, Tomohiro Ono as Ryūji Ishii, Yuna Kamakura as Fūko Sorano, Atsushi Kousaka as Homeroom teacher, and Koji Yusa as Jin Tachibana.
Miyu Tomita is performing the opening theme song “Broken Sky” for the show while Chiai Fujikawa is performing the ending theme song “Bakemono to Yobarete.”
Talentless Nana comes from writer Looseboy and artist Iori Furuya and the series is currently simulpublished on Crunchyroll. The book is serialized in Shounen GanGan and it has six volumes out in Japan as of its April 2020 announcement.
