Amazon Developing Lady Jaye Series For Shared ‘G.I. Joe’ Universe

Yo Joe!

Get ready for the G.I. Joe shared universe as Amazon Prime looks to be the home for a new property. The streaming service is working with Hasbro to create a series focused on Lady Jaye, who did get some live-action treatment before as played by Adrienne Palicki in the G.I. Joe: Retaliation film back in 2013.

The new project has set Erik Oleson of Carnival Row to create and showrun the series and will serve as an executive producer alongside Lorenzo DiBonaventura. The series comes from production partners Paramount Television Studios, eOne, and Skydance Television.

The character first made her appearance back in 1984 with the original TV series with the Revenge of Cobra miniseries and has been voiced by multiple actors over the years through animation, beginning with Mary McDonald-Lewis.

Plot Concept: The series will be a standalone story centered around Jaye, which will also connect to the larger G.I. Joe universe.
