‘Ore, Tsushima’ Manga Getting TV Anime

1 min read
With a cast like this, how can you not watch?

A new anime adaptation is being set up for the summer with the Ore, Tsushima property getting the nod. The project comes with Jun Aoki directing it at Fanwork and Space Neko Company on the production side. The show has a pretty great cast so far with Akio Ohtsuka on board as the cat Tsushima while Mayumi Tanaka will be playing Ojii-chan. They’re well-known for very different characters over the years such as Batou from GiTS and Luffy from One Piece.

The manga from Opūnokyōdai has three volumes out so far.

Plot Concept: The property focuses on a woman who is getting on in years, but all her cats think she’s a man so they call her Ojii-chan. One day a brazen cat named Tsushima appears in Ojii-chan’s yard.
