A new anime adaptation is in the works that definitely sounds intriguing with Shadows House. Announced previously, we’ve been getting some solid detail for it over the last few months. With the series slotted as part of the spring season with an April 2021 debut set, we’ve mostly been getting character/cast additions over the last few months. While we continue to wait for the premiere date to surface or a new promo, the official site has now rolled out a new key visual of our leading pair of characters.

Kazuki Ohashi is set to direct it based on the scripts by Toshiya Ono. Chizuko Kusakabe is on board with the character designs with CloverWorks handling the animation production.

The leads are cast with Akari Kito as Kate and Yu Sasahara as Emiriko starring with Ayane Sakura as Louise / Lou, Kodai Sakai as John / Shaun, Reiji Kawashima who will play Patrick/ Ricky, and Shino Shimoji as Shirley / Ram.

The manga comes from creator team So-ma-to which began in 2018 in Weekly Young Jump and has six volumes to its name so far as of October 2020.
