Set for a May 28th, 2021 debut, Disney has finally revealed the first full trailer for their live-action Cruella film. The project brings Craig Gillespie in to direct it based on the screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara. The project, which hasn’t listed a budget for it, isn’t the first time we’ve seen them in live-action as Glenn Close played the character in the 1996 live-action remake of 101 Dalmations.

The cast includes:

  • Emma Stone as Estella “Cruella” de Vil
  • Emma Thompson as the Baroness
  • Joel Fry as Jasper Badun
  • Paul Walter Hauser as Horace Badun
  • Emily Beecham as Anita
  • Mark Strong as Boris
  • Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Tabitha
  • Jamie Demetriou as Gerald

Plot Concept: In 1970s London, young fashion designer Estella de Vil becomes obsessed with dogs’ skins, especially Dalmatians, until she eventually becomes a ruthless and terrifying legend known as Cruella.
