Originally serialized in Comic X-Eros #88 installment, Some Things You’re Better Off Not Knowing is a twenty-two-page story from creator Nanamoto, who has just four other works on the service. I had stumbled upon this chapter while looking for something new to check out as none of my regulars had updated for a bit and I liked the title enough to check it out. With this one focusing on a manga club at the college-age level, it’s a nice change of pace with things and it has some really good designs to it with the characters that make it quite easy to enjoy.

The premise for this story introduces us to Tomo, the seeming head of the manga club at her college. With a few guys in the club asking her to hang out for the weekend, she demurs and instead makes plans to have her boyfriend Yuu from another campus come visit her after classes on Friday. When he shows up, she brings him to the clubroom on the pretense of forgetting something there that she needs before they head out. But the reality is that once she’s got him in the door, she’s got the curtains closed and the door locked and is intent on one hell of a kiss. And it works well enough that while she was intent for just that it has both him and her all worked up and she’s now ready to get a whole lot more out of him.

Which, to some point of reality, he’s not all that sure about since it is a school clubroom and there’s a mildly busy hallway right outside even if it is a late Friday. The two get moving fairly quickly even if he’s nervous about the whole thing but she’s making it clear what she wants, and that’s for him to reach climax inside of her. The conversation about it is brief and not really as clear as it should be in reality, but it works for this story and definitely works well in moving them forward. There’s a lot of movement around the clubroom for positions, how engaged they are, and how the whole thing just drives Tomo even more into it as it progresses. At the same time, we see him raising his concerns about her being in the club, knowing what manga otaku are like, but she makes it clears she’s got it under control. Which plays out in a really pervy way to good effect at the end here with how she views the clubroom when everyone else is in it.

In Summary
There’s a lot to like with this story as it plays out as it has Tomo as the one in charge of the situation and in control of what she wants. She’s not really forceful about it in a bad way but there are some elements where she needed to be a bit clearer – in reality. In the fantasy of the story it’s just a delight to watch as she goes after what she wants and makes it clear to Yuu that he’s exactly what she wants. The two clearly have a pre-existing sexual relationship which helps to ease some of the concerns one might have with how it unfolds and that makes it a lot of fun to read since they get into a lengthy and really appealing series of positions with some great layouts, all while the excitement of discovery is right outside the door.
