Anime Limited Schedules ‘Persona 5 The Animation’ Anime Blu-ray Releases

The spring and summer 2018 anime series Persona 5 the Animation got itself some new distribution as UK distributor Anime Limited and they’ve now set their plans for it. The company will bring out the show in two parts with it set for an April 12th, 2021 and May 10th, 2021 release. The two collector’s editions are priced at £59.99 each and will fit into the storage box that comes with the first volume. The first set has the first 15 episodes while the second set has episodes 16 through 26 plus the two specials, all in bilingual form.

The first set comes with six art cards while the second comes with a 28-page booklet.

Masashi Ishihama directed it based on the series composition by Shinichi Inotsume. Tomomi Ishikawa worked on the character designs and A-1 Pictures produced the animation.

The Japanese cast includes Rina Satou as Makoto Niijima, Aoi Yuuki as Futaba Sakura, Haruka Tomatsu as Haru Okumura, Mamoru Miyano as Ryuji Sakamoto, Nana Mizuki as Anne Tamamaki, Ikue Otani s Morgana, and Tomokazu Sugita as Yusuki Kitagawa.

The English cast includes Xander Mobus as Ren Amamiya, Max Mittelman as Ryuji Sakamoto, Erika Harlacher as Ann Takamaki, Cassandra Lee Morris as Morgana, Matt Mercer as Yusuke Kitagawa, Cherami Leigh as Makoto Niijima, Erica Lindbeck as Futaba Sakura, Xanthe Huynh as Haru Okumura, and Robbie Daymond as Goro Akechi.

Property Concept: Ren Amamiya is about to enter his second year of high school after transferring to Shujin Academy in Tokyo. A strange incident triggers the awakening of his Persona, and alongside his friends, he forms the “Phantom Thieves of Hearts” to change the hearts of corrupt adults by stealing the source of their distorted desires. Meanwhile, cases of psychotic breakdowns have been popping up one after another… Living their ordinary high school lives in Tokyo during the day, the group stalks the bustling metropolis of Tokyo as the Phantom Thieves by night.
