Announced in the fall of 2020, the TV adaptation is now set for an April 2021 premiere and a new promotional video has landed along with numerous updates.

The series has Shota Ihata directing it based on the series composition by Wataru Watari. Masakazu Ishikawa is handling the character designs with diomedea handling the animation production for it.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Yui Ishikawa as Sei Takanashi
  • Takahiro Sakurai as Albert Hawke
  • Takuya Eguchi as Johan Valdec
  • Yūsuke Kobayashi as Yuri Drewes
  • Taku Yashiro as Jude

The opening theme song is “Blessing” by Aira Yuki while the ending theme song “Page for Tomorrow” is performed by NOW ON AIR.

The light novel series from Yuka Tachibana and artist Yasuyuki Syuri began in 2017 and has five volumes out through Kadokawa so far. It also spawned a manga series in 2017 handled by Fujiazuki serialize in Flos Comic which has four volumes and is ongoing.

Plot Concept: Sei, a 20-year-old office worker, is whisked away to a whole new world. Unfortunately for Sei, the ritual that summoned her—meant to produce a “Saint” who would banish the dark magic—brought two people over instead of one. And everyone prefers the second girl over Sei?! But this is just fine by Sei, who leaves the royal palace to set up shop making potions and cosmetics with her newfound magic. Business is booming, and this might not be such a bad life, after all…as long as her supposed Sainthood doesn’t come back to haunt her.
