Discotek Media Brings ‘Saint Seiya’ Anime Movies To Blu-ray

While the DVD releases almost a decade ago weren’t the biggest hits out there, Discotek Media is trying once again with this franchise to draw the fans in and give them what they want with the Saint Seiya classic movie collection release. The four-feature set will be priced at $24.95 and arrive on April 27th, 2021 in high definition.

The set includes:

  • Saint Seiya The Movie: Evil God Eris (1987)
  • Saint Seiya: The Heated Battle of the Gods (1988)
  • Legend of Crimson Youth (1988)
  • Warriors of the Final Holy Battle (1989)

Extras for are the clean opening and closings and trailers.

Plot Concept: Pure, classic action that burns bright as Seiya’s Cosmo, distilled into this collection of Saint Seiya films released during the series’ original TV broadcast. Each film the Bronze Saints of Athena face chaos, death and insurmountable odds as they fight to save Athena from an onslaught of adversaries–Eris the God of Chaos and the Ghost Five; Drbal the Guardian of Odin and the God Warriors; Athena’s own brother Abel Apollo and the Corona Saints; and even Lucifer himself! Directed by series director Kouzou Morishita, as well as veteran Toei Animation director Shigeyasu Yamauchi. This collection contains all 4 classic Saint Seiya movies in 1080p high definition with the original Japanese language and English subtitles!
