‘To Your Eternity’ Anime Premiere Scheduled

The manga series To Your Eternity by Yoshitoki Oima is on track to get an anime adaptation as revealed back in January 2020. The series was planned for an October 2020 debut on NHK Educational and when it was picked up in September 2020 by Crunchyroll we learned that it was being delayed until Spring 2021 due to the pandemic.

Now, the official site has updated to reveal a new key visual you can see below as well as an April 12th, 2021 premiere date for it.

The twenty-episode series will be directed by Masahiko Murata based on the series composition by Shinzo Fujita. Koji Yabuno is handling the character designs with Brains Based working on the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Reiji Kawashima as Fushi, Rie Hikisaka as March ,Aya Uchida as Parona, Rikako Aikawa as Pioran, Mitsuki Saiga as Hayase, and Kenjiro Tsuda as The Beholder.

The manga began in 2016 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and has twelve volumes out as of the end of January 2020 by Yoshitoki Oima. Kodansha Comics releases the series in North America and has it as a simulpub through Crunchyroll.

Plot Concept: A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well… To Your Eternity is a totally unique and moving manga about death, life, reincarnation, and the nature of love.
