The winter 2021 anime series Dr. Stone is moving right along with its Stone Wars run as we’ve seen the simulcast episodes roll out and plenty of clips. Now, Funimation is stepping in with plans confirmed for their dub of it with the series set to make its debut on February 11th, 2021 at 5:00 pm ET. It’ll be in the standard one new episode per week format, production facilities permitted in the age of COVID-19.
Shinya Iino directed the series based on the series composition by Yuichiro Kido. Yuko Iwasa handled the character designs for it.
The English dub is directed by Clifford Chapin based on the scripts by Tyler Walker. The main cast includes Aaron Dismuke as Senku Ishigami, Ricco Fajardo as Taiju Oki, Brittany Lauda as Yuzuriha Ogawa, Felecia Angelle as Kohaku, and Ian Sinclair as Tsukasa Shishio.
The Japanese cast includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Senku, Makoto Furukawa as Taiju Ōki, Kana Ichinose as Yuzuriha Ogawa, Yūichi Nakamura as Tsukasa Shishio, Gen Sato as Chrome, Manami Numakura as Kohaku, Tomoaki Maeno as Kinro, Ayumu Murase as Ginro, Karin Takahashi as Suika, Reina Ueda as Ruri, Kengo Kawanishi as Gen, and Mugihito as Kaseki.
