With nearly 1,100 episodes to its name, the original Pokemon series ended last year, and things were set up for the new series that began on November 17th, 2019. That new series is making its way overseas through Netflix as one of its original series listings. In a deal with The Pokemon Company, Netflix has the first twelve episodes of Pokemon Journeys: The Series that arrived previously with a June 12th, 2020 debut, and the second part arrived on September 11th, 2020 while the third arrive on December 40th, 2020. Now, the main page for these series has revealed a March 5th, 2020 arrival for the fourth and final batch of  episodes as well with Netflix including it in listings of their plans for the month, making it formal.

The series is available in its English language form with closed captions and an audio descriptive track as well.

“With their tremendous reach and ability for fans to enjoy content anytime and anywhere, Netflix is the ideal partner to premiere new episodes of the beloved animated Pokémon series in the U.S.,” said Emily Arons, senior vice president of international business at The Pokémon Company International back when the deal was first announced. “We can’t wait for Pokémon fans of all ages to continue discovering the spirit of adventure and friendship in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, our newest season coming to Netflix this June.”

Daiki Tomiyasu serves as the chief director with Maki Odaira directing based on the series composition by Shoji Yonemura. Shuhei Yasuda is working on the character designs with OLM again producing the animation.

The Japanese cast so far includes:

  • Daiki Yamashita as Gō
  • Rica Matsumoto as Satoshi
  • Kana Hanazawa as Koharu

Ash meets Goh, another boy with boundless curiosity about Pokémon, and both are overjoyed when Professor Cerise asks them to become official research fellows. With Ash as determined as ever to become a Pokémon Master, and Goh aiming to catch one of every Pokémon (including the Mythical Mew), our heroes are in for adventure and excitement as they explore the wide world of Pokémon!
