With a lot of excitement earlier this year about Discotek Media picking up the Blu-ray rights for the three-part story that makes up the film Memories that has been released a couple of times over the years in the US and abroad, streaming continues to expand. With the release still to come, Discotek Media recently announced the dub cast for two of the three sequences with Stink Bomb and Cannon Fodder as produced by Sound Cadence.
Now, the company has announced via Twitter that they’re going to be bringing the film out on February 6th, 2021 on Twitch at 9:00 pm ET which will include “after-credit bonus content” with it.
The cast for Stink Bomb includes:
- Stephen Fu as Nobuo
- Chris Guerrero as Omaeda
- Steven Kelly as Nirasaki
- Gianni Matragrano as Kamata
- Mike Pollock as General Officer
- Kira Buckland as Sakiko
The cast for Cannon Fodder includes:
- Jack Britton as Boy
- Elley Ray Hennessy as Mother

The Magnetic Rose includes:

- Robbie Daymond as Miguel
- Derek Stephen Prince as Aoshima
- Alexa N. Careccia as Emily
- Laura Post as Eva
The Blu-ray release from Discotek is undated at the moment but will be done in 1080p and will be getting a new translation done for the subtitles. The release will come with a few extras, including a ‘Making of Memories’ Featurette, the pilot films for Magnetic Rose, Stink Bomb, and Cannon Fodder and Interviews with Katsuhiro Otomo, Koji Morimoto, and Tensai Okamura that we’ve seen before. It also looks like we’ll be getting an animated storyboard sequence for the Cannon Fodder piece along with translation and liner notes.
The big news, however, is that it’s getting an all-new English dub. Details of that will be coming later.
