Ah, little sisters, the other lifeblood of the light novel and anime world. A new one is on track as announced at GA Fes 2021 this weekend with My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me!, originally known as Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai. The series had a drama CD out previously and the cast from that will reprise their roles for the anime with:

  • Haruki Ishiya as Akiteru Ooboshi
  • Sayumi Suzushiro as Iroha Kohinata
  • Tomori Kusunoki as Mashiro Tsukinomori
  • Sōma Saitō as Ozuma Kohinata
  • Kana Hanazawa as Sumire Kageishi

The series comes from Ghost Mikawa which began in 2019 and has six volumes out so far in Japan.  A manga adaptation launched with Hira Hiraoka handling the artwork for it. J-Novel Club is releasing the light novel series in English.

Plot Concept: Unfortunately, Akiteru knows from experience that isn’t the case. Because every girl he interacts with shows him nothing but scorn, and he’s not scored a single date from it! Luckily, he’s more concerned with securing a spot for him and his game-development buddies at his uncle’s business. But when his uncle throws him a condition that involves playing the part of his daughter’s boyfriend, Akiteru has no choice but to take it.
