Set for a 2021 debut, the anime adaptation of the Pretty Boy Detective Club novels has revealed some new details. The series has Akiyuki Simbo as the supervising director for it and has revealed that Hiroki Yamamura is adapting the character designs with SHAFT production the animation. With that revealed last fall, the official site has now updated to reveal an April 10th, 2021 debut along with the first promotional video for the show.
Additionally, the cast for the main characters were revealed with:
- Ayumu Murase as Manabu Sо̄tо̄in
- Taito Ban as Nagahiro Sakaguchi
- Toshiki Masuda as Michiru Fukuroi
- Shougo Yano as Hyо̄ta Ashikaga
- Gen Sato as Sо̄saku Yubiwa
The novels are currently licensed and being released by Vertical.
