‘Yūenchi: Baki Gaiden’ Getting Anime Adaptation

Described as an illustrated novel but closer to a manga, the Yūenchi: Baki Gaiden has gotten tapped for an anime adaptation. The property from Baku Yumemakura is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine where it was revealed that a “martial arts novel” was getting an anime adaptation. And with the creator’s Baki works in general proving popular, it’s no surprise that this one would get picked up. It began in 2018 and has two volumes released as of this month.

No staff or cast details were revealed nor distribution as the recent Baki anime have been done through Netflix.

Plot Concept: The boy asked the man and the man answered: “I’ve been there, in the Korakuen Arena, fought against Hanayama Kaoru, it was amazing.” The boy asked him again but this time a question that terrified him to the core: ‘Where’s the amusement park?” The man had no answer.
