New details for the upcoming project.

Having noped my way out of the manga quite some time ago, I’m definitely curious to see how an anime adaptation of Platinum End can work out, especially if it can smooth the edges a bit. The adaptation has now revealed some new details about what’s to come with the two main leads having been revealed. That includes:

  • Miyu Irino as Mirai Kakehashi
  • Yui Ogura as Nasse

Check out the character designs below!

The anime adaptation was announced earlier this month, slotted for a fall 2021 season, debuted a promo below to tease it. Hideya Takahashi is directing the series based on the series composition by Shinichi Inotsume. Koji Odate is adapting the character designs with Signal.MD set to handle animation production.

The manga from Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba, creators behind Death Note and Bakuman, began the series in the fall of 2015 and will have the fourteenth and final volume will arrive quickly on February 4th, 2021. Viz Media simulpublished the series monthly and has twelve volumes out of the manga as of the first week of January 2021.
