With an 8-bit segment that leads into the story, we get to see Kurtz all happy to be working with the intent of selling a lot of armor today as he’s the only one there at the moment. That changes when Celas shows up and he freaks out from seeing an elf, which he thinks will attack him since he’s heard that before. Luckily for him, Nardon shows up and smacks him down hard, and puts things right, letting events unfold. Celas is actually someone that handles one of the nearby checkpoints and she’s here to get some sexy armor that’s been made for her. There’s some amusement in how Kurtz is put to the test with this in not getting a bloody nose, but there’s an amusing twist to this that works nicely which is designed for Kurtz to get better at his job.
In Summary:
With Nardon really trying to help Kurtz at his job considering what it is he has to face with some of the women that come here for armor, the arrival of Celas proves to be the latest challenge for him. I do like seeing Nardon working to help him here with his troubles when it comes to girl as it’s definitely a positive thing, but it also leans into some problematic stuff a bit as well. And Kurtz needs a lot of help.
