‘Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts’ Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

A new anime on the way!

With over 1.5 million copies in print since it began in 2015, last October saw to the end of the Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts manga. Created by Yu Tomofuji and serialized in Hana to Yume, the series wrapped up in the fall and we expected to not hear much from it since. With the release of the fifteenth and final volume, coming with a prequel episode zero chapter as well, it’s now been revealed that the property is getting an anime adaptation. No details regarding it, staff, or length were revealed in the Hana to Yume magazine.

Yen Press has the English language rights to the series and you can read our reviews of the first nine volumes here. The series began in 2015 as serialized in Hana to Yume and wrapped up with fifteen volumes after finishing in the fall of 2020 with its serialization.

Plot Concept: A young girl has resigned herself to being he next sacrificial meal for the Beast King…but the king is no mere monster! Love is more than skin-deep in this gorgeous fantasy manga.
