The winter 2018 anime series Yuru Camp, localized as Laid-Back Camp, was pretty popular and it spawned not only a short-form series but it has a sequel series coming up. And it has a live-action series as well. The show saw a January 7th, 2021 debut in Japan, and Crunchyroll confirmed their pickup of it for the winter season. With it rolling right along, Crunchyroll is starting in on the theme song sid of things as they’ve now added the opening theme song sequence with “Seize the Day” by Asaka while Eri Sasaki performs “Haru no Tonari” for the ending theme song.

Yoshiaki Kyougoku directed the first season based on the series composition by Jin Tanaka. C-Station worked on the animation.
The Japanese cast includes Nao Touyama as Rin Shima, Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Sayuri Hara as Chiaki Oogaki, Aki Toyosaki as Aoi Inuyama, Rie Takahashi as Ena Saitou, Marina Inoue as Sakura Kagamihara, and Akio Ootsuka as the narrator. New characters this season include Tomoyo Kurosawa as Ayano Toki.

The manga began in May 2015 in Japan while Yen Press has picked up the series for North American release beginning in 2018.
