The multimedia project known as Assault Lily Project was brought into anime form with a project called Assault Lily Bouquet this past fall. With that having wrapped up, it’s now been revealed that a new mini anime series is in production for it that’s set for this summer and will have studio SHAFT behind it for its production. While we’re presuming that the cast will be back, it’s unclear who will be working on the staff for this project.
The main TV series had Shouji Saeki directing it with Mieko Hosoi working on character designs and SHAFT on animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Hikaru Akao as Riri Hitotsuyanagi, Yūko Natsuyoshi as Yuyu Shirai, Mikako Izawa as Kaede Johan Nouvelle, Rimi Nishimoto as Fumi Futagawa, Risa Tsumugi as Tazusa Andō, Haruki Iwata as Thi Mai Yoshimura, Sana Hoshimori as Kuo Shenlin, Hikaru Tohno as Wang Yujia, Karin Takahashi as Miliam Hildegard von Globius, Rie Takahashi as Shiori Rokkaku, Minami Tsuda as Soraha Amano, Sayaka Harada as Ksumi Egawa, and Juri Nagatsuma as Shinobu Izue.
The group RAISE A SUILENE from the BanG Dream anime will perform the opening theme song “Sacred world” while Hitotsuyanagi-tai is handling the ending theme song “Edel Lilie.”

Plot Concept: On Earth in the near future, humanity faced imminent destruction from mysterious giant creatures known as “Huge.” The entire world unites against the Huge, and successfully develops weaponry known as “CHARM” (Counter Huge Arms) by combining science and magic. CHARM exhibits high rates of synchronization with teenage girls, and the girls who use CHARM are viewed as heroes called “Lilies.” Throughout the world, “Garden” military academies are established to train Lilies to face the Huge and to serve as bases to protect and guide people. This is a story about fighting girls who aim to become Lilies at one such Garden.
