Sentai Adds ‘Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle’ Anime Trailer

2 min read
Kaito and his friends are going to find themselves confronted with puzzle after puzzle, each more convoluted and deadly than the last!

Phi-Brain Season 3The original anime series Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle is one that definitely had a certain number of fans to it when it first came out. The series had three seasons overall that ran for two-cour each, a total of 75 episodes. It began in 2011 with seasons following in 2012 and 2013 that has Sentai Filmworks licensing them all and streaming them then on The Anime Network.

Sadly, while Sentai Filmworks brought out the first two seasons with DVD and Blu-ray releases, the third season didn’t get a home video release at all. And for those at the time who weren’t interested in streaming, they never got to see it (myself included). Sentai’s still selling the home video releases of the first two seasons but doesn’t have any streaming rights at all anymore it seems, so the series is in a kind of weird/bad place where they haven’t even tried putting the two seasons together they have at a lower price to try and recoup some costs.

But, we do finally have a trailer! It was kept to just the home video releases of the time but now it’s streaming in all of its glory.

Plot concept: After the Orpheus Order battle and Jin losing his memory, Kaito moves on to becoming a sophomore and heads off to England. Upon visiting a church from his childhood, Jin and Kaito bump into Reisheru – a girl whom he recognizes only by name. But their first encounter lands them immediately into a Puzzle Battle.

Meanwhile at school, the mysterious wave of influence from Gammon and Enigma starts involving Kaito and every one of his friends, but somehow ends up circling back to Raetsel. What’s her involvement in this? Will the mystery of Phi-Brain be fully revealed? Will the answers lie inside Jin’s head? Find out on the thrilling conclusion of PHI-BRAIN!
